1. What End-to-End Encryption Means
EnzoChat uses end-to-end encryption for private messages, group chats, voice calls, and video calls where applicable. End-to-end encryption is designed so that only the intended sender and recipient(s) can access the content of the communication.
In practical terms, this means that EnzoChat cannot read the text of your encrypted messages, cannot listen to encrypted calls, and cannot decrypt the protected content of your private conversations. This model helps reduce the risk of unauthorized access during transmission and storage.
2. What EnzoChat Can Still See
Even with end-to-end encryption, EnzoChat may still process certain operational information needed to run the service. This may include metadata such as message timestamps, sender and recipient identifiers, delivery status, device information, IP address, login records, error logs, and other technical signals.
This information is used for service delivery, security, abuse prevention, complaint handling, troubleshooting, and legal compliance. It does not mean that we can read the actual encrypted content of your private message.
3. Temporary Server Storage
If the recipient is offline, encrypted messages may be stored temporarily on our servers until delivery becomes possible. While stored, the message content remains encrypted and is not accessible to EnzoChat in readable form.
The temporary storage system is used only to support message delivery and service reliability. Once delivery is completed or the message is no longer needed for delivery, it may be removed according to our technical and retention processes.
4. Limits of Encryption
End-to-end encryption is strong, but it does not prevent every risk. For example:
- Your device may still be accessed by someone else if it is unlocked or compromised.
- Screenshots or screen recordings may be taken by the recipient on their device.
- Users may voluntarily share messages outside the platform.
- Metadata and account signals may still be visible to the service.
- Content may be reported by users and reviewed through the complaint process using screenshots or other evidence.
For that reason, users should still be careful when sharing sensitive information.

We use end-to-end encryption to improve confidentiality, support private communication, and reduce the risk of interception or unauthorized access. Encryption is part of our broader approach to security, user trust, and privacy protection.
