1. Purpose
EnzoChat respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This Copyright Policy explains how copyright complaints may be submitted, how we may respond, and what action we may take if copyrighted content is posted or shared without permission.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Grievance Policy, and Privacy Policy.
2. Copyright Responsibility
Users are responsible for making sure that any content they upload, post, or share on EnzoChat does not infringe the rights of others. You must have the necessary rights, licenses, permissions, or legal basis to use and share the content you publish.
You may not use EnzoChat to:
- Upload pirated or unauthorized copies of copyrighted works.
- Share copyrighted images, videos, audio, software, documents, or text without permission.
- Distribute content in violation of licensing terms.
- Encourage or facilitate copyright infringement by others.
- Re-upload content that was previously removed for copyright reasons.
3. Copyright Complaints
If you believe that content on EnzoChat infringes your copyright, you may submit a complaint through email or the grievance web form.
Please include as much detail as possible, such as:
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing content.
- The specific URL, account, post, or message reference if available.
- A statement describing your ownership or authority to act on behalf of the owner.
- Your contact information.
- Any supporting evidence.
Accurate and complete information helps us process the complaint more efficiently.
4. Review and Action
After receiving a copyright complaint, EnzoChat may:
- Review the complaint for completeness.
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
- Notify the user who posted the content, where appropriate.
- Request additional information from the parties involved.
- Preserve records for legal, safety, or compliance purposes.
- Take action against repeat infringers or abusive accounts.
We may act promptly when a complaint appears credible or where the law, safety, or platform integrity requires it.
5. Counter-Notice or Dispute
If a user believes content was removed in error, they may contact us and explain why they believe the removal was mistaken, including any supporting evidence such as authorization, license, ownership, fair-use-like justification where applicable, or other legal basis.
We may review disputes in good faith, but restoration of content is not guaranteed and may depend on the circumstances, legal risk, and available evidence.
6. False or Misleading Copyright Complaints
Submitting false, misleading, or abusive copyright complaints may lead to rejection of the complaint and may also result in account action if the conduct is serious or repeated.
7. Repeat Infringers
Where appropriate, EnzoChat may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright or that abuse the copyright complaint process.
8. Legal Compliance
EnzoChat may respond to copyright matters in accordance with applicable Indian law, intermediary obligations, and lawful notices. We may also preserve and disclose relevant records where required by law.
